$100,000 Habitat House Sponsorship Received!

Middlesex Habitat for Humanity is pleased to announce an anonymous gift of $100,000! The
donation will be used to almost fully fund one of the next two Habitat for Humanity houses scheduled
to begin very soon. The very generous donation came from a Middlesex County company who has chosen
to keep their good works anonymous. The gift came as a result of the work of the newly formed Business
Development Team of Middlesex Habitat. They developed a plan and presentation to seek full to partial
house sponsorship gifts. House sponsors normally receive public recognition. Their employees are invited
to participate in special build days, the ribbon cutting and house dedication programs. While we cannot
share the name of this special company, we can say to all how very, very grateful Middlesex Habitat for
Humanity is! We now have the funds necessary to rehab a house, our 10th Habitat house project, for
an eligible Habitat for Humanity partner family. Stay tuned for more details!

From Mary G. Murphy, Senior Vice President, Liberty Bank: "As a member of the Business
Development Team, I knew that we wanted to target companies or individuals who were good friends
of Habitat and capable of considering a gift of $15,000 to $25,000. But never in my wildest dreams
did I think that one of our first solicitations would yield such a substantial gift! I am awed by the
good work of Middlesex Habitat, and by the extraordinary generosity coming from a donor who recognizes
and respects this work."
