Building Site Volunteer

When available, our build days are usually Wednesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays from 9am – 4pm.

We welcome individuals from the surrounding community to volunteer on building projects. Please note, dates and spots for volunteering are limited and are only available on a first-to-schedule basis. In order to volunteer on a build project, a person must first register as a volunteer with our organization. Once registered, a person will be able to view the online schedule where dates and times can be seen for available volunteering opportunities. If no dates/times appear on the schedule, this could mean nothing is currently scheduled/available for individual volunteering. Please consider checking back within a few days to see if any updates have been made. We ask all volunteers to arrive on time, wearing work-clothing and shoes, and be ready to be briefed on the day’s tasks. Volunteers are welcome to bring a snack, lunch, and beverage as time will be given for break(s)/travel for food. Be sure to note the start-time for the build day you are scheduling as 9am may not always be the correct time to show up on site. Should a build date be canceled for any reason, volunteers may be notified by e-mail.
