Construction Site Volunteering

When up and running, our build days for volunteering are typically Wednesdays, Fridays, & Saturdays from 9am – 4pm.

We welcome individuals from the community to volunteer on building projects. Please note, dates and spots for volunteering are very limited and are only available on a first-to-schedule basis. In order to volunteer on a build project, a person must first register as a volunteer with our organization. Once registered, you will be able to view an online schedule where dates/times can be seen for available volunteering opportunities. If no dates/times appear on the schedule, this likely means none are currently scheduled/available for individual volunteering.

Please consider checking back within a few days during a build period to see if any updates have been made. Schedules can be updated periodically.

We ask all volunteers to:

• Arrive on time
• Wear clothing and closed-toes shoes appropriate for building
• Listen to all safety and work guidelines
• Have a positive and helpful attitude towards working with others

Volunteers are encouraged to bring their own lunch and preferred beverage (water, coffee, juice). There will be times for breaks and to travel nearby for food if needed. If you secure a build-day on the calendar, be sure to save that date/time and lookout for any change notifications due to weather or unforeseen circumstances. Should a build date be canceled for any reason, volunteers may be notified by e-mail, text, or phone call.
